Fire Suppression Assessments

Resolution Ordering the Levy and Collection of Fire Suppression Assessments within the Georgetown Fire District for Fiscal Year 2017/2018

The Board of Directors desires to levy and collect assessments against parcels of land within the District for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, to pay the costs and expenses of operating, maintaining and servicing fire suppression services and appurtenant facilities located within the District.

Appropriation Limits

Hearing on the Appropriation Limits for Georgetown Fire District

The Board of Directors of Georgetown Fire District has resolved that the Georgetown Fire District appropriation limit for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, as described in Article XIII B of the State Constitution and implemented by Chapter 1205, Statutes of 1980 is the sum of $998,881.13.

El Dorado County Declares a Local State of Emergency Due to Damage to Local Infrastructure from the Recent Weather Events

Placerville, CA – El Dorado County has declared a local state of emergency due to damage to local infrastructure from the recent weather events. The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors at its meeting on January 10, 2016, in unanimous vote, declared the emergency after getting a report on damage to local infrastructure by County staff.

2016 California Fire Code

An ordinance of Georgetown Fire Protection District adopting the 2016 Edition of the California Fire Code, based upon the 2015 Edition of the International Fire Code, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in Georgetown Fire Protection District; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; repealing Ordinance #2013-01 of Georgetown Fire Protection District and all other ordinances and parts of the ordinances in conflict therewith.
